It sounds like VIP may have gotten confused about the driver and sample rates you are using. To the poster, are you running any vst's? At any rate, it is probably a plugin causing the issue, and you may have to do a bit of digging to find it.

Do I need any special software to make this work? Have you used any other midi controllers before? Normal cheap onboard sound cards don't do low latency.

I leave mine at 44,Hz. Did try another usb slot and reboot. Is your interface's driver up to date like Asko has suggested?

The LPK25 contains an arpeggiator, which steps through chords automatically, assisting musicians with creating quick melodic ideas. I have that working in Studio One ppk25 Ableton Live.
